Got a DIY electronics project that needs a voltage boost? This HiLetgo DC-DC booster module is a super handy little board to have around. Here's the deal: you feed it a DC voltage between 3V and 35V, and it can boost that output up to anywhere from 3.5V to 35V (output is always equal to or higher than input – that's what 'boost' means!). It can handle up to 6 amps of output current and delivers up to 65W of power (even 100W if your input/output voltages are above 20V). The conversion efficiency is awesome, up to 96.7%, so you're not wasting much power as heat. The coolest feature is the built-in blue LED voltmeter. Just press a button to switch between showing your input voltage or your output voltage. There's also a little potentiometer you can turn with a screwdriver to easily adjust the output voltage while watching the meter – no multimeter needed! It uses a quality LTC1871 chip and a high-power MOS tube. Important notes: It has NO reverse polarity protection, so be super careful connecting your wires (IN+/IN-, OUT+/OUT-). Also, the voltmeter only works if your input is 4V or higher. It's about 2.66 x 1.63 inches. Great for powering higher voltage devices from batteries, solar panels, or other lower-voltage sources.
